The fight against privatization of the Post Office continues to face a government that seems unwilling to hear the word of the French .
Of all the lands, as now Place du Capitole, the majority of elected municipal participate actively in this movement.

Despite the high turnout at the voting citizen of October 3, and the massive demand to the Government, expressed throughout the country, not to change the status of La Poste to transform the company into public limited company, of not to proceed with the opening of its capital, the President of the Republic and the ministers concerned have turned a deaf ear.
Given the strong involvement of citizens in our department, concerned about the future of this historic public company, guaranteeing a unique pricing reasonable guarantees also the economic dynamics in rural areas, and it must be remembered, guaranteeing a social link to the most isolated (geographically but also socially), we must extend the action of October 3 2009.
The City Council of the City of Toulouse, asked the Government:
- respect the outcome of the vote on October 3, 2009
- withdrawal of the proposed change of status of La Poste
- the opening of public debate on the future of public postal service
- a referendum on the future of La Poste
