While some may have thought at the end of neoliberalism or exceeded its close, the "reform" of University and Research, France and in other countries in Europe, sounds like a lie and an example of the continuing process and strategy of shock.

These "reforms" are part in the Bologna Process, launched in 1999. Presented as a project of harmonization of education and research at European level, it would be the heir to a tradition of the Enlightenment, tied to the movement and exchange of ideas. The clock is painful for academics and researchers, because this process in fact began in the 1980s, is actually a cornerstone of globalization applied to research and education, and revise the entire management of public service. It is indeed a harmonization of policies to deregulate the education system and research, and to recreate new regulations which make social space to the logic of the market, with the key words repeated ad nauseam: mobility, efficiency, competition. All fields of society are now included, including the field of symbolic exchange, with education and research, reduced inputs of a "knowledge economy", stirred as the flag of European competitiveness, since European Summit in Lisbon in 2001. Individuals, companies, institutions must adapt to the fundamental economic law, the market and competition. The Board, through its public statements, has guaranteed the value of qualifications that we will deliver this year. It is our responsibility now, as teachers engaged in a movement of struggle, to give our students a number of guarantees of fairness for the end of semester assessment to take place in serenity and confidence mutual. We solemnly pledge to each other:

1. To participate actively in the juries which we are members
2. To verify that assessments reflect the content sent to all students and take into account the particular circumstances of this semester
3. To ask for an explanation of each note below the average
4. To receive individually, before the jury deliberates, any student who would not be sufficient to note that his half is validated and who request it
5. In cases where a student was injured, to use the notes of our own teachings as adjustment variables to compensate for that injury
6. To avoid as much as possible to return a student at the second session, set this year in September
7. To refuse to sign the minutes of the jury if one student was injured because of the strike
8. To participate in the Commission's monitoring and mediation so that a guarantee of justice is achieved in all components.

This end of semester evaluation is a step for us in the fight as we continue to wage against the reforms.
