Meeting Thursday, October 1, 2010, the Council of UFR studies Iberian and Latin American University of Paris-Sorbonne adopted unanimously the following motion:
We refuse the establishment of Masters professional education for prospective candidates to CAPES and we do not go back up on the comp.
Whatever form used for the framing of this new type of Masters, they would render the inevitable creation of a huge pool of "glued received" no credible professional perspective, would affect the short term the existence of competition and also that of current-research masters , denied the majority of their students.
is why the Board of Faculty already put in place a committee to consider a redevelopment Master of Romance Studies so better training of students according to their various professional projects: CAPES, aggregation, Ph.D., outlets turned to the business world. It's the only way to preserve both the interests of students and those of the University.
We invite all UFR to adopt the same position.
